TAKE OFF IN THE WORLD OF AVIATION

Air travel and aviation security are fascinating topics, including for children and young people. With its educational programme EASC strong for STEM (EASC stark für MINT), the EASC e.V. is committed to education in the field of air travel and aviation security, and seeks to inspire young people, especially girls, to want to learn more about these topics. The acronym STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (MINT in German).

› Together with partners from companies, research, science, initiatives and associations, the EASC e.V. is sparking an interest in aviation-related professions in the Berlin region.‹

ACTIVITIES IN THE EASC STRONG FOR STEM EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME:

Workshops on the following topics:
› Developing model aircraft and printing in 3D
› Flying, repairing and developing multicopter
› Experimenting with future technologies, such as fuel cells
› Developing the “Airport of the Future” scenario

Careers advice and support in further education choices
› Awareness campaigns for careers relevant to the field of aviation
› Matchmaking events for internships, research assistant posts and entry-level jobs, e.g. with campaign days at schools
› Company visits
› Girls’ Day
